An inspiring new series of live Satsangs with Swami Sivamurti Saraswati will take place once a month at the beautiful grounds of Satyanandashram and at the Satyananda Yoga Meditation Center in Paiania. It is a unique experience to sit in the company of a yoga Acharya who is a disciple of one of India's greatest visionaries, Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati.
Participants will be given an opportunity to ask questions during Satsang and then mingle at the ashram's kafeneio where refreshments and vegetarian delicacies can be enjoyed.
In today’s rapidly changing world, people of all ages are confronted with challenges that call for wisdom, positivity, and spirituality—qualities that must be need to be cultivated in order to navigate life’s difficulties successfully. Swamiji, as she is known to her students, will be addressing major issues which concern us all today and instruct us on how yogic practices and the teachings of the masters can help us handle and overcome them.
Topics such as Yoga and Relationships, Loneliness and Isolation, Living in the Present, How to Spiritualise our Life, Dealing with anxiety, Finding one’s purpose in life, Discovering one’s strength and overcoming one’s weaknesses, ways of overcoming fear and insecurity will be looked into.
Swami Sivamurti Saraswati, Yoga Acharya [Master] and founder of Satyanandashram was born and raised in Australia. Travelling to India in 1975, she met her guru, the great spiritual luminary, Sri Swami Satyananda Saraswati, and became his disciple. She was initiated into the Dashnami order of Sannyasa after having acquired training from Sri Swami Satyananda in various branches of yoga and the tradition of Sannyasa. On receiving her guru’s mandate to spread yoga in Greece, she brought the teachings of Satyananda Yoga to Greece in 1976. Since then, she has been safeguarding the integrity, tradition, authenticity and high quality of teaching of Satyananda Yoga in Greece. In 2004, she was appointed as a permanent guardian of the Satyananda Yoga Academy of Europe (SYAE) of which she is an eminent speaker and as a Bihar Yoga Emissary. Having travelled far and wide, she is greatly respected and loved and has the natural ability to communicate simply and profoundly touching the hearts of all who meet her.
