Sannyasin Jyotisagar

Sannyasin Jyotisagar first become involved in Byzantine Iconography on which she studied and worked and traveled abroad for several years. Since 1990 she has been practicing yoga and in 1993 completed her teaching training course under the supervision of Swami Sivamurti Saraswati. She was initiated in karma sannyasa by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati in 1992.
Since 2011 she has resided in the ashram and has been involved in the running of various departments, including audio/visual department and book publications. Apart from teaching yoga, she regularly attends seminars and in-services to deepen her knowledge of yoga and in 2019 she commenced the Yogic Studies Course under the guidance and training of Satyananda Yoga Academy Europe. She teaches Hatha yoga in the Paiania ashram and the Satyananda Yoga Meditation Centers.
She is also a member of the Hellenic Union of Teachers trained in the Satyananda system of yoga.
