Sannyasin Tratakananda

After studying scenography and costume design in Athens, Sannyasin Tratakananda went on to study Fine arts at the School of Fine Arts, Naples, Italy. Alongside with working in this area, she started practicing yoga. In 2008 she completed a teacher training course under the supervision of Swami Sivamurti Saraswati and since then has attended a variety of in-services. She was initiated in karma sannyasa by Swami Satyasangananda in 2010.
She teaches Hatha yoga and yoga nidra of the Satyananda system. As an ashram resident since 2003, she has been involved in the running of many of the ashram departments, and is currently involved in the promotion department, as well as teaching Hatha yoga in the Satyananda yoga meditation centers. She organizes the Yogic Lifestyle programs for the Greek groups and during the last few years has been part of the team running the Gurukul programs for children.
She teaches Hatha yoga in the Paiania ashram and the Satyananda Yoga Meditation Centers.
She is also a member of the Hellenic Union of Teachers trained in the Satyananda system of yoga.
