Sannyasin Vishnumitra (Meidani Katerina)
Sannyasin Vishnumitra completed her PhD in Ancient Greek History at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2005.
She began practicing Satyananda Yoga in 2009. Since February 2015 she has resided at Satyanandashram Hellas mainly involved in the department of translations and editing, promotion and organising programs and events.
In 2019 she completed the three years of the Yogic Studies Course under the guidance and training of Satyananda Yoga Academy Europe in Hungary.
She regularly visits the ashrams at Rikhia and the Bihar School of Yoga to attend courses and seminars.
She believes that yoga is a unique system whose philosophy is closely related to the initial ancient Greek way of thinking. The ancient yogic practices enable people living in the modern world to have a more balanced daily life.
She teaches at the Paiania ashram and at the Satyananda Yoga Meditation Centers.
She was initiated into Karma Sannyasa by Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati in December 2019, at Rikhia.
